Halloween Comes Early
Void of Course (Until 1 PM), Moon in Scorpio (1 PM, lasts a couple days), Moon Conjunct Venus (5 PM)
Anxiety from yesterday carries over into today as the Moon continues its journey through Libra alone. Once it crosses into Scorpio, however, the mood shifts and changes, although the Moon doesn’t really like to be in Scorpio any more than it likes to be alone in Libra. While the Scorpio Moon can create opportunities for success and understanding, it also makes us jealous and suspicious.
The Moon also joins Venus today, who just entered Scorpio. This creates a fluidity and attractive energy that brings all things Scorpionic into faster fruition. We let our dark sides come out and play, and this draws others to us in exciting ways!
Jupiter Sextile Pluto (peaks today, lasts through 9/17)
Over the past week we have been seeing the truth come out in disruptive ways, and that information peaks today, giving today’s mood an even more ominous tinge. If even just one of these aspects (the Moon conjunct Venus in Scorpio, or Jupiter in Scorpio sextile Pluto) were to occur, it would be dramatic, but their energy combines into an emotional maelstrom.
Uranus Opposite Venus & Moon (4 AM – 4 PM)
Making matters worse, Uranus is directly opposite the Moon/Venus conjunction, and provides just the right energy to send us into jealous rages! At the first sign of darker impulses, we’re thrown into action, as we feel the need to experience and directly indulge our desires. The Moon might make us stop and think about our actions, but Venus’ intoxicating strength overpowers this instinct of the Moon.
Moon Square Mars (2 PM)
With the Venusian energy overpowering the Moon, this aspect strongly echoes the Venus/Mars square last week (on 9/8), and further makes us doubt our own standing in relationships. We are more defensive and jealous today, and this energy gets funneled along with the rest of the Scorpio energy into these self-pitying feelings.
Moon & Venus Sextile Saturn (5 PM – 11 PM)
If there’s any planet that can withstand all of this energy being funneled off, it’s definitely Saturn. When the Moon & Venus make this evening aspect with grand Saturn, all of this negativity and darkness is poured into Saturn, a planet that is cold, dark, and used to barriers. With Saturn in its home sign of Capricorn, this may even mean that something good can come from all of this, with this energy going into your productivity. Regardless, things cool off after quite an emotional day thanks to this configuration in the skies.
